Peter Neumann i I woke up at 4:30 am today despite setting my alarm for 5:30. I had a riff from Book of Revelations stuck in my head so decided to listen to the lyrics carefully for a change. OMG they put an unflattering mirror in front of my soul! You nailed it! This song captures that moment of profound honesty when a soul desiring to progress spiritually faces the unavoidable point of translating understanding into action. My only disappointment with the song is that the guitar solo ended way to soon! It started taking me somewhere magical and the journey ended just when I was about rise above the clouds. Do you have any gigs coming up in LA? I’d love to hear more!

This album is a real gift for anyone who aspires to take their life to a higher stage and fan of artful rock music. Thanks so much for sharing your gift with us and baring your soul! Favorite track: Book of Revelations.

about

This album chronicles a long period of profound change and growth for me, both as an artist and as a human being. We lived in three different countries (and three States), saw great success and struggle, experienced the whole continuum of confirmation and seeming chaos. Friends left this world, children were born, 12-step programs were joined. It was, if nothing else, real!

In that spirit, this work was done not with 'the marketplace' in mind - only the search for a shred of authenticity and integration through my art. There were times when the songs wrote themselves; other times when they felt chiseled out of granite. I remember sounds coming to life that were beyond my ability to create, which are the moments for which every artist lives. This music became an intimate friend -- with all the complications and rewards that implies.

I hope it can become a companion on your path as well, doing whatever it is that only music can do. Thank you for being part of this adventure; please reach out and share your tales with me as well.
